Bridge passing Chenango Branch RR across spillway from a since-drained farm pond up hill toward the east. To the west of this point the land descends quickly into a small network of springs and reservoirs that fed the Manlius village with fresh water.
Bridge platform was made of cement which is erroding on western face. Bridge platform is supported by rails (common practice on this line) and limestone block quarried from nearby location.
