An unusual construction of a cattle and horse crossing bridge beneath the Chenango Branch railway. This position is along a steep embankment east of the current Village of Fayetteville DPW facility. The construction is of a cement base and continuous steel "U" pipe roughly 1/2" thick. Outside the bridge are limestone block retaining walls with some granite found on the eastern side possibly from an earlier construction.
