After the Chenango Branch was absorbed into the West Shore RR the lines combined east of downtown and the Chenango Branch began to run the route of the parent WSRR into the city of Syracuse. The photo above shows the WSRR and Chenango Branch crossing over the later parent to both New York Central RR.
